Branding expert and political analyst Donny Deutsch made a controversial claim on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Thursday that President Donald Trump is a sociopath but was quickly blocked by host Joe Scarborough.
During the show, Deutsch was asked by Scarborough how he would handle Trump as a client as he feels the president is confusing voters by playing to his base on one day, and then the next day he is playing to a wider group of voters.
“Donny, it’s been your job to obsess over brand management for corporations, for public figures, and he’s cutting against his image… What do you tell your client if your client is like Trump?,” Scarborough asked.
“I’m going to give you the honest answer to that. I would tell my client they need help,” Deutsch replied. “I happened to stumble across the symptoms, the definition of a sociopath.” But Scarborough quickly cut him off.
“No, no, no, Donny. Donny. Come on,” Scarborough said then tried to refocus the conversation back to branding. “We don’t need the pop psychiatry here.”
To answer the question, Deutsch basically said Trump should not keep taking different stances.
Young Conservatives reports:
What’s going on with Donny Deutsch?
The guy used to have some credibility when it came to talking politics but those days are long gone.
The latest liberal fad is to pretend that Trump is mentally unstable because you disagree with some of his policies.
Donny Deutsch seems to be a fan of that mentality and he even tried to talk about it on television.
