Barack Obama was seen in Russia’s latest anti-smoking campaign where signs of an altered image of the former president with a cigarette in his mouth were posted in several bus stops.
The ad says “Smoking kills more people than Obama, although he kills a lot of people. Don’t smoke, don’t be like Obama,” in Russian, according to the Gateway Pundit.
Russians are not very fond of the liberal U.S. president. In January, Russian activists burned a banner that said “Obama burn in hell” in front of the U.S. embassy in the capital Moscow.
As U.S.-Russia tensions escalated during the Obama presidency, he has been targeted in negative ads several times in Russia.
However, it is not clear who was behind the latest ad, which compares the number of deaths due to smoking to the number people “killed by President Obama,” according to the BBC.
