The leftist Washington Post ran a propaganda story on Thursday showing how the Trump administration is sowing fear among working immigrants, who are now cancelling their participation in the government’s food stamps program in droves.
In their interview with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) coordinator Luisa Fortin, they learned that immigrants from northwest Georgia fear that food stamps may impact their immigration status.
Because of fear of deportation, Fortin claims that many immigrants chose to cancel family food benefits outright.
100% Fed Up reports:
In the two months since President Trump’s inauguration, food banks and hunger advocates around the country have noted a decline in the number of eligible immigrants applying for SNAP — and an uptick in immigrants seeking to withdraw from the program.
The Washington Post wants to show in this story the heartbreaking situation of immigrants where parents are left with no choice but to take their kids out of the SNAP program even at the risk of hunger, all because of the anti-immigration policy of the heartless Trump administration.
However, what is strikingly lacking in their article is that not a single immigrant family was interviewed.
