White House security nearly had a big problem on their hands on Friday after a man with a backpack snuck past security and got pretty close to President Trump.
The incident took place just before midnight while Trump was at the White House.
A source from the Secret Service claimed that the intruder likely entered the White House grounds on the east side before approaching the residence’s south portico entrance.
The White House was placed on code “orange,” one of the highest levels of security for the Secret Service. Not long after, the suspect was arrested by Secret Service agents and taken into custody.
Trump, who was in Washington on Friday, was alerted to the incident and wasn’t harmed.
Luckily, no one was harmed in this incident and the strange individual that snuck in with the backpack will now get to enjoy a long prison sentence. Remember folks, the security of the president is no joke.
